EXPOSED VOYEURISM, SURVEILLANCE & THE CAMERA
Tate Modern 28 May – 3 October 2010
I'm going to see it one Saturday soon. The reviews (click on the blog-post title above, to go straight to the Tate Modern link) make it sound a bit creepy, photographers shooting images of people in public places without asking permission. You do get great un-made-up-faces, but it raises the question 'Should that photographer have asked permission first ?' It is a chance to see close up the originals of seminal images which litter the coffee table books all around us.
What do you think ?
